Scott Mclean


Scott McLean, from Glasgow, is a well-established drummer having performed around the UK, Italy, Germany and Pakistan. He was tutored by Tom McNee from the age of eight and as well as playing conventional drum kit and electric kits, he enjoys other percussion instruments which include djembe, cajon, and many other ethnic drums.  Scott has continued to widen his talents in percussion and is considered one of the freshest sounding drummers around.

After performing with Ceilidh Bands, Scott started to perfect his rock and heavy metal style in many Glasgow based bands leading to the fusion of genres within Reely Jiggered. Scott has appeared on television with of Reely Jiggered in the children’s program “Woolly and Tig” on BBC Cbeebies, he has entertained in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow, where he performed alongside various gospel musicians for the Annual SEN Celebratory Mass and also has links with Sunny Govan Radio where he participated in music and song writing workshops with members of the 80’s band SCHEME. His energy, enthusiasm, speed and control has made Scott an extremely popular session drummer.
